Members from teams around Texas discuss issues while taking a break from a busy meeting. Host team was Bexar County REACT #4950, using the facilities of Radio Operators of South Texas (ROOST, www.w5ros.org)

Door prizes are always a part of every meeting. This time we had some really interesting prizes, ranging from a couple of K40 CB antennas to a couple of rubber ducks with nose rings (from Soapshoes). The proceeds from the door prizes and 50/50 pot were donated by the host team to the state council.

Testing for Amateur Radio Licenses was offered during the meeting. Several of the VE's are shown in the photo shown here.

Bexar and Travis showed their new team displays which they used at recent Amateur Swapfests in the area.

Dinner plans anyone? After every meeting, a group of attendees usually find a place to enjoy dinner together. This time we went to the Blackeye Pea Restaurant. Here are some photos from that dinner. 16 attendees stayed around for dinner after the meeting was over.

We surprised Janelle Williford (Houston Metro) with a chocolate cake for her birthday.
