The 5 Card stud movie was released by Paramount Pictures in the year 1968. The movie written by Marguerite Roberts featured Dean Martin and Robert Mitchum.

The movie is about a gambler who is caught cheating at a 5 card stud poker game. In the movie, a player played by Dean Martin tries to prevent the others from administering justice but is not able to do so. Martin leaves the town but returns when he hears that other players have been murdered.

The movie then turns into a murder mystery where Martin has to find the killer killing the lynch mob. It is then known that the murders are taking place due to revenge. Martin remains the sole survivor and is able to identify the killer just in time. The film was last appearance of actor Inger Stevens who committed suicide after two years.
